How we use AI

We build AI systems for other organisations, so it would be strange not to say where we use AI ourselves. This page is that answer, written at the same level of detail we would expect from a supplier.

No part of this website runs a model while you are reading it. There is no chatbot, no generated answer, no assistant, and nothing that sends what you type to a model. The discovery call form is a form: it validates what you wrote and delivers it to us unchanged.

Parts of this site were drafted with AI assistance during the build, including copy and code, and every page was reviewed by a person before it was published. The claims on this site are ours regardless of what helped write them.

In client work, AI assistance is used the way any competent engineering tool is used: to draft code, to work through options, to summarise material, and to write tests and documentation. It accelerates the work. It does not sign it off.

A person is accountable for everything we hand over. Generated code is reviewed and tested before it ships, generated analysis is checked against the source it came from, and no output reaches a client because a model produced it confidently.

Client material is not put into a model that the client has not agreed to. Which models and which vendors are used on an engagement is decided with the client, written down, and not published here, because it varies by engagement and by what the client's own policies allow.

We do not train or host our own foundation models. When we build a system we assemble it from components a client can inspect, run, and switch off.

We do not publish generated proof. There are no testimonials, client logos, case studies, ratings, or outcome figures anywhere on this site, invented or otherwise, and there are no generated screenshots of products pretending to be real ones.

We do not use generated imagery of people or places to suggest a company larger or busier than we are. If you find something here that looks like proof, it is either something you can check yourself or it should not be here.
